How to Delete Your Account
You can delete your account directly from the Imaan Pro app. Follow these steps:
Open Imaan Pro
Launch the app on your Android device and make sure you are signed in to your account.
Go to Profile → Settings
Tap the Profile tab at the bottom, then tap the Settings icon in the top-right corner.
Tap “Delete Account”
Scroll down to find the “Delete Account” option and tap it.
Confirm the Deletion
A confirmation dialog will appear. Read the warning carefully, then tap “Confirm” to permanently delete your account.
What Data Is Deleted
When you delete your account, the following data is permanently and irreversibly removed from our servers:
- ✕Profile Information — Your name, email address, and profile photo
- ✕Prayer Tracker Data — Your prayer logs, habits, and schedules
- ✕Journal Entries — All your reflections and mood logs
- ✕Chatbot Conversations — Your messages and interactions with the AI assistant
- ✕Bookmarks & Favorites — Saved duas, Quran verses, and other bookmarked content
- ✕App Settings & Preferences — Your saved app configuration and preferences
- ✕Firebase Authentication Record — Your sign-in credentials (email/password or Google account link) are removed from our authentication system
This action is permanent and cannot be undone. There is no recovery option. If you wish to use Imaan Pro again, you will need to create a new account from scratch.
What Data Is Retained
While most data is permanently deleted, certain information may be retained for legitimate purposes:

The retained data is anonymized and cannot be linked back to your deleted account. We only retain what is necessary for technical operations, analytics accuracy, and legal compliance.
Important Notes
- ●Uninstalling is not deletion. If you simply uninstall the app, your account and data remain on our servers. You must follow the steps above to delete your account.
- ●Processing time. Account deletion is processed immediately upon confirmation. However, cached data may persist in our systems for up to 30 days before being fully purged.
